First of all, I want to apologize for my hiatus over the last several weeks. I took a much need vacation that was two weeks long and have been dealing with a lot of change in the work environment. This is always stressful, but I believe it will have great results.
That aside, I wanted to find out who is attending the SLA annual conference that is coming up in a few weeks. I was really excited to go, but had to cancel my plans due to work and we will need someone to take the time to represent our chapter at the annual meeting. It would also be terrific to get some of your feedback/experiences from the conference on the blog. I would love to have an official conference blogger.
In addition, I am once again asking if there is anyone interested in talking about the exciting stuff they are doing in their library environment. We are going to have a "show & tell" for members in the July and I would like to have some other members talk about what they are doing. I am happy to do all the talking, but I really think it would be great if some other members could talk about their experiences. Feel free to email me personally or just comment on this post.
