More Seattle Session Recaps!
Two more summaries of DGI annual conference programs are available on the What's New page of our website. If you were not able to get to Seattle or squeeze into the rooms for these popular sessions, check out the reports:
- Building Global Bridges Across Science Databases, summary by Cassandra Harper, and
- Cutting Edge e-Digitization, summary by Richard Huffine.
Other session summaries that have been posted are:
- From USA to Deutschland
- Government Librarians Get Savvy: Metrics! Metrics! Metrics!
- unSpun: Finding Facts in a World of Disinformation
Many of the Seattle SLA sessions were recorded, and the mp3 files are available for free for members from the SLA Click U! site. The DGI sessions with mp3 files are "Metrics!", "unSpun," and "Building Global Bridges Across Science Databases". Click U! also has conference handouts and slideshows from a variety of sessions, free for SLA members. (The only DGI slideshow on the page is from Dr. Stuart Weibel, who presented at the session on digitization.)
