New: DTIC Online Website

The US Defense Department's Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) has announced a new website, consolidating several old sites and introducing new search features. As described on the site's Quick Navigation Guide:

DTIC.mil, Public STINET (Scientific and Technical Network), and DTIC Search have been consolidated into DTIC Online (Public), creating a single point of entry to DTIC and its products and services.

This new integrated public Web site offers single-site access to information previously available on three separate sites:

  1. DTIC Search - http://www.dtic.mil/
  2. DTIC Home - http://www.dtic.mil/dtic/index.html
  3. Public STINET - http://stinet.dtic.mil/

The Public Technical Reports Search, similar to the old Public STINET, is available directly at
http://www.dtic.mil/dtic/search/tr/index.html.
