Copies of the agreements the General Services Administration (GSA) negotiated on behalf of the federal government with social media providers such as Google/YouTube and Yahoo/Flickr are now available online. The Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) obtained the documents through a Freedom of Information Act request and has made them available on their website. The agreements are linked from EPIC's 12 August 2009 blog post EPIC Forces Disclosure of Government Contracts with Social Media Companies, Privacy Terms Missing.
The Socialfeds website now provides a full list of links to the agreements, the FOIA request, and related information in its 31 August 2009 blog post Federal Agreements with Social Media Providers Released.
