284 members have signed up to do 23 Things. Have you?
At the Annual Conference, SLA launched its version of 23 Things. As the site says:
23 Things is a step by step, week-by-week strategy that is paced so that we can all incorporate this learning and start applying it. We even have a strategy for those of you who either know some of the tools or only want to learn some within the 23. To learn more and join us in this journey, that will be done by September 15, 2008, to be eligible for a prize and certificate.
The program is geared on spending 15 minutes a day for nine weeks. Even if you start this week (and take a week off for vacation), you'll finish before Sept. 15. It is hoped that 15% of our membership (1,800 people) will do either the 23 Things or the shorter version (referred to as a Baker's Dozen). Even if you know some of the tools, this will get you familiar with more tools...and that will be a good thing.
So...what are you waiting for?
