In an email sent yesterday to members, the SLA Board announced the new name it's proposing for the association: Association for Strategic Knowledge Professionals, or ASKPro. This proposed name is the results of the Alignement Project.
A special referendum will be taken place from November 16 to December 9. SLA members will be able to cast an electronic vote. The result will be announced on 10 December.
