The IT Division is proud to be home to members who have recently received SLA honors:
At the Leadership Summit, four members have received the following association awards:
- James Manasco (immediate past Past-Chair), Dee Magnoni (past Chair) and Libby Trudell (present Public Relations Chair) became SLA Fellows
- Libby Trudell also received a special President Citation for her work on the Public Relations Advisory Council in regards to the Alignement Ambassadors program
- Amy Buckland (present Chair of the Communications and Social Media Section) received one of the five Rising Stars Award
Other association awards have since been announced:
And now, three IT members are on the SLA 2011 Board of Directors slate!
- Richard Huffine for Division Cabinet Chair-Elect
- Jill Hurst-Wahl (present IT Professional Development Chair) for Director
- James Manasco (immediate past Past-President) for Chapter Cabinet Chair-Elect
