Leadership Summit 2008

Kentucky Chapter to Host Leadership Summit 2008

Once again the Kentucky Chapter is playing a major role in SLA events.  SLA realizes that all members, even small chapters make an impact on the organization.  The Kentucky Chapter first came to the attention of a broad spectrum of SLA members with our work on the Dues Proposal

Now, we will be home to the SLA Leadership Summit in 2008.  Chapter members prepare.  We will have a lot of work to do to make sure that our fellow SLA members know that while Kentuckians have a great time in other cities; we will have a better time showing them how to enjoy Louisville.

Fun and leadership do go together.  Louisville is home to the Derby, the 2007 Orange Bowl Champions, the Slugger, and ALI. In January 2008 we will be home to SLA.  Let's roll out the welcome mat and show our organization just how well leadership and fun go together.

Or as they say in the IT Division "Let's get this party started."

How exciting! To whom do we send congratulations for this coup?

James Manasco et. al.

I am so pleased!!! Bravo!!! Let me know if there's anything I can do from down here. Thoughts of The Bristol's green chili won tons are dancing in my head...

Three cheers for James, et al.!!

Wow! This is fantastic! Next thing you know we will be hosting the SLA Annual Conference! Maybe after the 2010 World Equestrian Games here in Georgetown we will have enough hotels to accomodate everyone...
