Please join us in congratulating fellow Kentucky Chapter members James Manasco and Shawn Livingston on winning awards from the Kentucky Library Association. The awards were presented during the Kentucky Library Association Awards Luncheon on September 16, 2010.
James was awarded the 2010 Kentucky Library Association's Special Librarian of the Year Award. The Special Librarian of the Year Award recognizes and honors the contribution of an individual who has demonstrated the highest standards of special librarianship.
Shawn was awarded the 2010 Kentucky Library Association Carol J. Parris Mentoring Award. The Carol J. Parris Mentoring Award recognizes an individual who has mentored one or more Kentucky Librarians or library workers. This mentoring could have occurred in an academic, personal, or work environment.
We are very proud of our Kentucky Chapter and Kentucky Library Association colleagues. Congratulations, James and Shawn!
