Description
Working in our Wiley-Blackwell business as an Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling but primarily renewing Wiley - Blackwell licenses to institutions according to Wiley’s pricing and licensing guidelines to achieve sales revenue and growth targets. You will also be responsible for responding to customer inquiries regarding Wiley-Blackwell products, license terms and pricing questions via telephone and email. In addition, you will be responsible for assisting sales management in prospecting and qualifying leads as well as working with customer service and technical staff to insure customer satisfaction. You will also attend conferences and make limited visits to customers to drive sales.
Requirements
2 or more years experience in library sales, preferably field based.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
Ability to initiate and lead sales conversations and close sales.
Knowledge of online services/delivery of information via the telephone and internet.
