At QVC, our website is designed to connect people with the products they want - quickly and easily! Behind the scenes, our team of Product Administrators make this happen through their accurate classification of product categories.
QVC has an IMMEDIATE need for a part-time Product Administrator at our Corporate Headquarters in West Chester, PA. Reporting to a Librarian, the Product Administrator manages and dispositions data related to products and digital assets.
The Product Administrator:
- Classifies products for corporate reporting, website drill downs and promotions.
- Gathers and inputs data about products and digital assets into corporate systems.
- Maintains schemes and normalized data for product classification, product attributes and digital assets.
- Partners with other departments re: logistical issues and solves routine problems.
- Runs / creates standard and ad hoc reports.
- Reviews website for classification errors, missing images, etc.
This is a part-time position (approx. 20 hours per week) with flexible weekday hours.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
- 2 - 3 years business experience.
- Library background strongly preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills w/specific attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with all levels of staff.
- PC proficiency: Word, Excel, Access, Internet savvy. Must be able to learn new systems quickly.
