Information Library Science Position at Citi
CitiMarkets is the future of e-trading platforms for fixed income and equity markets. The platform provides world-class research, commentary, and color on a broad range of product areas across the capital market structure including rates, credit, equities, fx, commodities, and securitized structured products. CitiMarkets is currently released to internal users, and it will be rolled out to external clients over the next several months..
We are currently seeking qualified candidates in the field of Library Science with a strong bias towards information architecture and knowledge management. In particular, a background in how information resources are organized and how external clients interact with large repository of analytics and technologies is preferred.
Responsibilities include:
· Planning and implementation of Search Engine related projects
· Cataloging and classification of multimedia assets
· Meta-data management and architecture
· Designing collection management processes
· Maintaining metrics repositories
Qualifications
The qualified candidate should have:
· Bachelors Degree or Masters in Library Science or related discipline
· 3+ years of relevant customer service and/or project management experience
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and an expert in Microsoft Excel
· Understanding of web-browsing and Internet use
· A working knowledge of HTML
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
· Work experience in the financials is preferred
