Producing standard and customized selection tools for internal and external customers and recommending titles by title selection.
Selecting, evaluating, and coding titles and applying exclusion codes to titles not acceptable for the Approval Program
Developing profiles for customers
Deciding on quantities and assigning locations for library systems
Maintaining collection management required documentation and ongoing reports for customers
Job Requirements
2 to 5 years collection development/library experience preferred.
MLS degree from an accredited institution is required
Strong PC knowledge
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals and the ability to write reports and business correspondence is required
Ability to travel overnight
