1.Evaluate and select electronic, print and media collections for humanities and fine arts curricular and research needs.
2.Explore and implement new services and technologies for support of scholarly publishing, including a leadership role in the development of Lehigh's digital scholarship archives.
3.Collaborate with faculty to promote and support the use of library collections in course instruction; develop student research skills; integrate library content and services into campus course management systems.
4.Promote and support new forms of scholarly publishing in the humanities and fine arts, including collaborative digital projects and open access.
5.Provide expert research assistance in humanities fields to students, faculty, staff, and visiting scholars; develop user guides and documentation. Serve as associate staff in Special Collections; participate in developing exhibits and programs
Requirements:
1.Master's degree in Library Science, Information Technology or equivalent program required; subject background in a humanities discipline (includes history), with advanced degree preferred
2.Three to five years related work experience
3.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4.Solid analytical and problem solving skills; ability to work independently
5.Excellent
computing skills; experience with digital library projects preferred 6.Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, and credit history based upon the requirements of the position
