Cincy SLA Participates in the Run For Kids...

The Cincinnati Chapter of SLA has agreed to be a sponsor for the Cincinnati Bar Association's 15th annual Run for Kids. This is a great opportunity to promote our chapter and participate in a family oriented community event.

The Run for Kids is a 5K race/fitness walk that directly benefits the ProKids organization of Cincinnati. The race will take place at St. Mary's Church on Erie Avenue in Hyde Park on Friday, June 3rd. The race will begin at 7pm. Following the race is a fun run for kids and a party with live music by Kelly Red and the Hammerheads. ProKids is a non-profit organization that advocates on behalf of abused and neglected children in the legal system. ProKids trains volunteers to serve as Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) in the court. CASAs provide abused and neglected children with a voice in the court system.

We would like to get as many SLA Chapter members as possible to participate in this event by either running/walking in the race or volunteering at the event.

The Cincinnati Chapter is giving away FREE t-shirts to everyone in the Chapter.  Please email Connie Song (csong@kmklaw.com) with your t-shirt size so she can order your FREE SLA t-shirt. Be sure to wear your SLA shirt on race day and any other SLA event!
