Brief Look at the SLA Site in Second Life

If you have not visited the SLA site in Second Life in a while, you may be surprised by the changes.

The firepit and buildings are gone and have been replaced by white hexagons that can be raised and lowered to create tables and seating spaces

The renovations were paid for with  Sponsorship money.  Portable display have been set up with the sponsors' logos.  When you click on the logo, you get a link to the sponsor's website and and SLA T-shirt with the sponsor's logo.

Although the new site is easier to navigate without the buidings, I do miss the sandbox.  It was a great place to try to build something or open a box when you wanted to transfer the contents to your inventory
