SMUGGLING MEMORIES Tonight we begin with some history of Cornish Smugglers and the differences between smugglers and pirates. Then on to some memories of the smuggling days from people that were there, and on to a few exciting tales of smuggling adventures. And even a song from Rudyard Kipling! All in voice.

Five years ago, Crap Mariner swore a solemn oath to write a 100 word story every day until the day he dies. Since he's not dead yet, the writing and storytelling keeps rolling along. Monday May 31, 2010 marks the fifth anniversary of that oath, so we shall gather at the West of Ireland Library to look back at some of the best (and worst) stories of this pernicious half-decade of keeping it brief.
