4th Annual Virtual Worlds Best Practices in Education Conference, 17--19 March

The doors open today at 12noon PDT with our first address by Botgirl Questi happening at 2pm. Presentations, posters, machinima, social events, and virtual tours carry on 7×24 from now until Saturday when Pooky Amsterdam wraps up the conference proceedings with our gala awards presentations at 4pm followed by the Steampunk Ball at 6pm.

The conference isn’t just about Second Life though. We have more virtual world explorations this year than ever including World of Warcraft, Club Penguin, VenueGen, Sococo, Jibe, OpenSim, ReactionGrid, and more.

Librarians are included among the speakers.  Valibrarian Gregg will speak be part of panel talking about the University of  Washington Virtual Worlds Certificate Program.  'Iam presenting with a panel of graduates from the UW Certificate in Virtual Worlds class at the VWBPE conference today from 7-8pm slt."  HVXSilverstar says "if you are up early on Saturday, at 7:00 AM SLT, and not attending Pathfinder's wonderful session...  I'll be on a machinima panel with the wonderful Draxtor Depres and hosted by Firery Broome:"
