VMA REBORN!!! - CELEBRATE!! SAVE THE DATE!!
APRIL 9, 2011
5:30 PM SLT     Grand opening events - virtual ribbon cutting for the
Virtual Museum of Architecture (VMA) in Second Life.
6:00 PM SLT     DJ ETOILE - DANCE DANCE DANCE!!!
7:00 PM SLT     RB HAMELIN at 7 PM - LIVE GUITAR - ROMANTIC ROCK
8:00 PM SLT     DJ ETOILE - ENCORE!

Winners of the Museum Building & Sculpture Competitions!
The opening of the museum building - lecture hall, dance club, cafe,
reference library, staff offices,  museum store, exhibit hall.
The placement of a special sculpture in front of the museum building,
which will mark the landing site and define the VMA concept.
All the competing buildings and sculptures will be exhibited in
Skyboxes - TP to view them!
NEW EXHIBITS! -
Streetcar Suburbs exhibit in the "From the 20th Century into the
Future" quadrant - 4 houses forming a neighborhood around a square as
they might have looked in 1910.  The houses include:  Craftsman,
Prairie Style, Victorian Stick Style, and Colonial.  Designed and
built by Jadyn Firehawk.
Green cottage exhibit in the "Sustainable Architecture" quadrant,
showing uses of natural and recycled materials, water re-use, and
practical building and adaptation methods.  The cottage is designed
and built by Delia Lake.
