Arrive at the museum at 9:00 a.m. for a brief talk with a curator followed by a 40-minute film. Spend additional time touring the 16,000-square-foot gallery of the museum, which is divided into four state-of-the-art, interactive exhibits that mix oral histories from veterans, artifacts, documents and photographs with hands-on activities and never-before-seen film footage. A group rate of $15 per person includes the film and exhibits and the special curator talk.

Ann Jacobson is the new editor of Military Libraries, our division newsletter. She expects to resume with regular publication of a summer issue at the end of July. In the interim, she is calling for submissions to a short special issue which will focus on time-sensitive topics such as upcoming SLA programs. Deadline for submissions: Wednesday May 19
