Nominations Now Being Accepted for 2012 DMIL Distinguised Service Award

Fellow MLD Members,

This is a request for Nominations for the 2012 MLD Distinguished Service Award. This award recognizes la member for outstanding and sustained service to the Military Libraries Division, Special Libraries Association. It is presented at the Military Libraries Workshop (MLW) in December.

The MLD Distinguished Service Award was first awarded in December 1999 at the MLD Workshop in Williamsburg, VA. The award consists of a certificate of achievement and/or a presentation gift. Nominees must be members of the Military Libraries Division, Special Libraries Association. Membership eligibility of the nominees will be verified.

If you would like to nominate a member for this award, please complete a nomination form and submit it to the Awards Chairs. Instructions for submission are included on the attached form. All nominations must be submitted by September 30, 2012.

Dads are really a blessing; most of us who have loving mothers would likely admit, at some point inside their lives, that they would be no where without their mothers and dads. Mother's day is a celebration to indicate our gratitude for all which they do for us. It's a special occasion to express our love and thanks for his or her endless struggles and their constant prayers which have been sent our way. They nurture you if you are young and make you straight into fine people. They cater towards your needs in almost every way you can and they sacrifice endlessly to keep us all happy. Mothers undoubtedly are a source of love, warmth and also comfort. We may not be capable to express our love for our mothers usually, but we all should make mother's day a special occasion for her.
