Thinking about participating in the MN Chapter Continuing Education event - http://sla-divisions.typepad.com/slamn/2011/08/join-us-for-creating-influence-how-to-get-what-you-want-.html? Or do you have another professional development opportunity in mind?
We are now accepting applications for the second of two 2011 Minnesota Chapter Professional Development grants of up to $250. So that the winner will have the opportunity to register for the CE event if that is the opportunity selected, the deadline for applications is this Friday, September 16. Apologies for the late notice and quick turnaround. If there are not any deserving applications by the deadline, we will consider extending the application window for other professional development opportunities.
Details and application form are below and at http://units.sla.org/chapter/cmn/awards/profdevgrant.htm.
If you have any questions about whether the development opportunity you want to pursue is eligible for the grant, or you have your application ready, please contact me at drash@q.com. The awards committee will try to have a decision by September 19th for any applications received by the 16th.
