Please join me in congratulating Sheila Hatchell and her team from the MnDOT Library for winning the 2011 MN SLA Innovation in Action Award!
Their project entitled "Extreme Makeover, Library Edition" included a revitalization of their space, communications efforts and technology offerings.
The award was announced at the Night of Honors event and hopefully we can look forward to hearing more about the project as part of one of next year's chapter meetings.
Thank you to everyone who applied for the award and thank you to the Awards Committee members, Alisa Coddington, Pam Enrici, Kat Jayne, Carol Lynn O'Gara and Margaret Ostrander, for their tough decision making for this award as well as for each of the awards throughout the year.
Again, congratulations to Sheila Hatchell and everyone who contributed to the MnDOT Library innovation in action!
