Three librarians from markedly different special library settings—an art museum, a law firm, and an arboretum within a university—will profile their library and discuss how the special library as an “information commons” can contribute to an organization’s mission and financial success while being a catalyst for institutional advancement. Presenters are Kathy Allen of Andersen Horticultural Library at the University of Minnesota, Janice Lea Lurie of MIA, and Jill Strand of Maslon Edelman Borman & Brand, LLP. The program will conclude with a tour of the MIA Art Research & Reference Library.
Registration is a two-part process. Please register and send payment on or by Monday, Sept. 10 (event is limited to 50 registrants). Late registration is $35.
