Job Description - Reference & Instruction Librarian

POSITION SUMMARY:
St. Bonaventure University is looking for a public service-oriented librarian to perform general reference duties, library instruction, and collection development.

QUALIFICATIONS:
An MLS from an ALA-accredited school is required, as is experience working with electronic resources. Preference will be given to those having some experience with instruction. Experience working in an academic library is also preferred but not essential. Candidates will be asked to make a classroom presentation as part of the interview. This will be either a 9 month or a 12 month appointment depending on the candidate. The library’s website can be accessed at: www.sbu.edu/library.
