Assistant Librarian or Senior Assistant Librarian--Bibliographer for Business and Economics
Description:
The University at Albany Libraries seek an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, creative librarian to serve as the bibliographer for the University’s School of Business and Department of Economics. Other subject responsibilities will be assigned contingent on the applicant’s qualifications and institutional needs. The successful candidate will evaluate and develop collections and resources; manage subject acquisitions budgets; provide bibliographic instruction and research consultation for faculty and students in assigned subject areas; work with library and teaching faculty to create programs and activities to identify and address user needs; develop, author, and maintain subject Web sites and research guides;and provide general reference services during assigned hours, including some evenings and weekends. Reports to the Associate Director for Collections.
Requirements:
All professional and faculty positions at the University require a degree from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization; additionally applicants must address in their applications their ability to work with a culturally diverse population.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in librarianship from an ALA-accredited institution or foreign equivalent
- A second advanced degree, or combination of education and experience, in business or economics
- Strong background in specialized information resources used in business and economics
- Experience with library and office computer applications
- Demonstrated ability to author and manage Web pages
- Evidence of ability to interact collaboratively with teaching faculty and library faculty and staff
- Demonstrated interest in applying emerging technologies in libraries
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong commitment to public service, outreach and information literacy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Collection development or reference experience in an academic or special library setting

The closing date for receipt of applications is October 14, 2011. Anticipated start date is January 2012.
I'd be interested in hearing. The TOS seems rather clear that it is not unless expressly approved by Amazon. I guess if the library got it in writing then they would be ok.

I have read this blog it is interesting and good i like it so much
it is wonderful..
i find this article a great work on consumer behaviour and the approach we take for our business set ups. i am looking forward to the upcomming article of the arthour. i applied some of the principles in my business approach.
