SUNY Cortland - Information & Computer Literacy Instructor

Job Description - Information & Computer Literacy Instructor 

POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Coordinator of the Computer Applications Program, the Information & Computer Literacy Instructor is a tenure track, full-time, twelve month position responsible for teaching courses in the Computer Applications Minor Program as well as the introductory course in computer applications.  

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:

  • MLS from an ALA accredited institution or other appropriate Master's degree from an accredited institution
  • Teaching or training experience
  • Experience with Windows and Macintosh computer environments
  • Experience with Webpage design
  • Expertise in word processing, database software, spreadsheets and presentation software  

Preferred:

  • Experience in teaching programming languages
  • Experience with multimedia programs and tools
