Job Description - Information & Computer Literacy Instructor
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Coordinator of the Computer Applications Program, the Information & Computer Literacy Instructor is a tenure track, full-time, twelve month position responsible for teaching courses in the Computer Applications Minor Program as well as the introductory course in computer applications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- MLS from an ALA accredited institution or other appropriate Master's degree from an accredited institution
- Teaching or training experience
- Experience with Windows and Macintosh computer environments
- Experience with Webpage design
- Expertise in word processing, database software, spreadsheets and presentation software
Preferred:
- Experience in teaching programming languages
- Experience with multimedia programs and tools
