The Board proposes the following candidate for CI Division offices:

Toni Wilson's Bio:

Toni Wilson is an independent competitive intelligence practitioner, as founder and principal consultant with MarketSmart Research Services LLC. Prior to establishing the company in 2000, Toni was a CI manager at LexisNexis, a leading information services company, for nearly 12 years. It was during her time there that she began developing in-depth knowledge of information sources and research tools and techniques, which has grown into an unparalleled level of expertise.

Toni has been a member and volunteer leader with the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) for 16 years. She served as a member of SCIP’s board of directors from 2000 to 2003, led the Southwest Ohio SCIP chapter for a collective nine years, and served on SCIP’s annual conference planning committee for three consecutive years. In 1999, Toni received the SCIP Catalyst Award and, in 2008, she received SCIP’s Faye Brill Award – both in recognition of her ongoing commitment to the CI profession and to the goals of the association.

Toni was a founding member of SCIP’s Women’s Leadership Council and one of its first co-chairs. She enjoys writing a regular column for CI Magazine and has contributed to several CI Foundation publications. Toni makes regular presentations regarding competitive intelligence collection and analysis and CI program processes, and regularly mentors new and aspiring CI professionals, sharing her passion for and knowledge of the CI profession with them.

The online election is now open and will remain open until November 24, 2009.

The results will be posted to the CI Division list and published in an upcoming Intelligence Insights.

This invitation is being sent to all CI Division members, who are the only ones eligible to vote, so check your email for your personal invitation (and please do not forward your invitation to anyone else).

The survey security has been set so that each recipient of the invitation can vote only once, and the information linking voter identity to a particular vote has been suppressed.
