Good advice - very practical. I'm going to share with my new librarian who is going to her first professional conference this month. Even though it's not SLA, the same advice applies.

Conference Coordinator

We often have companies asking us more and more for ice breakers simply to get people to be less shy and get involved in things. It seems a sign of the times that people dont always communicate well.

Some sensible guidelines like this can often help.
