This week I came across a free learning management solution called edu 2.0. Founded by Graham Glass, the site provides a free web-based education solution for parents, teachers and students. The site is free to use and ad-free as well. You can create courses that are both public and private.
With my previous experience as a learning/course management system administrator for one of the more well-known products out on the market, I was thoroughly impressed with the ease of use and functionality that I saw with edu 2.0. If you're thinking about delivering information literacy education to your patrons in a self-paced online environment, I would suggest giving edu 2.0 a try.
