Information Systems Wiki now open for business!

Finally, a project long in the discussion has finally been brought to life: a wiki for Information Systems, at http://wiki.sla.org/display/ITINFOSYS/Home. The site includes an overview of vendor system evaluations, operating systems & security, social networking, and other useful sites - it's only a starting point, and I welcome any input or comments any of you might have. (Please!)

One thing on the site I hope everyone will respond to, whether you have comments on the site or not, are the polls that are currently available. I've heard a lot from folks who wonder what other folks are using, so the first two polls are just that: one on operating systems, and one on social networking tools.  Are you interested in seeing what others in the division are doing or using? Got an idea for a poll? Drop me a line!

You will have to log in to Confluence to view the wiki; if you don't already have an account, it's very easy to get one via the Sign Up link at the wiki home page (http://wiki.sla.org). I hope you'll take a look and share your input!
