On behalf of Daphne Chang, Virtual Events Chair:
Virtual Events Committee: Call for volunteers
The IT Division recently created a new Virtual Events Committee to organize virtual educational events for our community. Some initial ideas include an informal best practice roundtable series and a tech briefing series focusing on popular technologies. We are looking for a team of energetic volunteers to create a virtual educational program for our Division. Through brainstorming, event planning, experimentation with technologies, and reaching out to other divisions/chapters, you will have plenty of opportunities to expand your skills and to network with other members. If you are tempted to get your feet wet, email me at [email protected]
If you are not available to volunteer for the committee at this time but are interested in attending virtual events, feel free to email me topics and/or presenters of interest.
The tale also shows the role of luck in discovery.

Your concepts were easy to understand that I wondered why I never looked at it prior to. Glad to find out that there's a blogger out there that certainly understands what he's discussing. Excellent.

You won’t learn about Griffith’s politics at the museum named for him (though he supported President Obama’s health care plan), and political and advocacy groups are prohibited from taking part in Mayberry Days, where guests are asked to avoid politics in their speeches.
