SLA-NY Event: Creating the Future: The Top Five Trends Affecting Information Workers (Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, in Manhattan)

We are delighted to have as our guest for our first SLA-NY program meeting of SLA's second hundred years Anne Caputo, 2010 President of the global Association.  Anne will be presenting a talk on "Creating the Future: The Top Five Trends Affecting Information Workers."  After she speaks, Anne is looking forward to a dialog with the audience about the future of both the information profession and of SLA, including the recent unsuccessful attempt to change the name of the Association.

 

DATE and TIME: Wednesday, January 13, 2010

5:30-6:30 p.m.  Reception
6:30-7:30 p.m.  Presentation by Anne, followed by dialog with her

Four Times Square (entrance on 42nd Street)
