NJSLA was privileged to learn some "Kee Facts" from Kee Malesky, National Public Radio librarian and author of "All Facts Considered: the Essential Guide to Inessential Information" as she spoke Tuesday evening at NJSLA's 34th Alice Rankin Distinguished Lecture event.
Malesky discussed her career at NPR and provided interesting background about the job of a news librarian at a media organization that reaches almost 30 million listeners a week. She also talked about her approach to writing and read selections from her book, which includes trivia and background information on a wide range of subjects. Malesky's talk was followed by a lively discussion at the event, held at the Raritan Center Sheraton in Edison. Photos from the gathering are available on Facebook, courtesy of Kris Fitzpatrick.
