Position:     *Collection Development Librarian
Location:     Bridgewater, New Jersey
Description:    

    Producing standard and customized selection tools for internal and external customers and recommending titles by title selection.
    Developing profiles for customers
    Deciding on quantities and assigning locations for library systems
    Maintaining collection management required documentation and ongoing reports for customers



Requirements:    

    Understanding of library selection/collection development for books, video, music, and electronic content for children, teen, and adults
    2 to 5 years collection development/library experience
    MLS degree from an accredited institution is required
    Strong PC knowledge
    Ability to travel overnight

   
Additional Information:    

    Selecting, evaluating, and coding titles and applying exclusion codes to titles not acceptable for the Approval Program
