Ensure Knowledge Management is efficient and

colleagues and teams. Provide dedicated support to achieve a ramped up
level of Knowledge Management (KM) for the Global and Regional Gum and
Candy Teams, interfacing directly with the technical community to help
address day to day KM questions and needs. Also covers Library services
for both East Hanover and Whippany.

1. Develop, train and advocate tools and processes supporting R&D Siemens Suite, Decision Lens, The Inventing Delicious Framework, and other collaborative KM tools needed for Global Gum and Candy.
a) Key Point of contact for Siemans Suite. Support usage and best practices in documentation and reuse of knowledge.
b) Become the key knowledge leader of the Decision Lens software tool and support usage by RD&Q, Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain colleagues in the Category who need to interact with this tool.
c) Work with Global and Regional G&C RD&Q colleagues to identify new capabilities needed to help function as a joined up, global organization. This could include opportunities to: align resource interdependencies for efficient resource utilization; and tools to ensure TIPS and Global Margin agendas are linked into regional 4-2-1’s.
d) Connect with Mondelez KM Center of Expertise to coordinate new capabilities for cross category implementation.
2. Lead key knowledge capture, searching and landscaping activities across the Global Category Team using tools and best practices provided KM Centre of Expertise.
- Trains users across Gum and Candy in using online searching techniques.
- Undertakes intermediary searches themselves for the complex, difficult, or multi-source searches.
Qualifications
BS or MS Technical Degree with 8 + years of industry experience within an R&D organization (preferably Consumer Packaged Goods) with 5+ years of Knowledge Management experience and Library Services. A MLS desirable but not essential. Should have strong skills in:
- Information resources and technologies to be able to help and/or direct people to right resources and tools to find and manage both internal and external knowledge and information. (eg. Direct people to resources to find internal experts, point to literature databases against particular topic area, document management etc.)
- Influencing across RDQ, Commercial, and cross-geographic locations to institute best practices that drive a new level of global collaboration and alignment.
- Collaboration to find win-win solutions to priorities and limited resources and ensure Knowledge Management best practices get the needed support and implementation.
