About the Job
Looking for a Web Designer to step in and pick up important projects working in a fast paced eCommerce environment. This role will have design responsibilities for email, banners and web sites. Video editing experience a major plus. This role is critical in keeping the workflow moving in this growing design group. Depending on experience and ability the responsibilities and role can grow. The Web Designer will report to the Director of Internet Marketing and work alongside two existing design resources, one of which is fully dedicated to Internet design. Most existing design requests are handled by 3 rd party design agencies, but the group is looking to bolster internal design capabilities. This role will be critical in managing the marketing requests with third parties vs. balancing it with completing them internally. Requests can run the gamete from simple color changes to full web page and promotional design to social program design concepts. This role will interface daily with Marketing, Legal and IT to build and get items approved/revised. This role also may receive overflow work from the Retail group during crunch times.
A good designer will be able to:
Manage marketing requests, assets and project due dates Creating or editing images and graphics for website use Determining all coding requirements for site creation including: e-commerce capability, forms and specialized scripts. Creating templates of approved website layout Coding website using HTML, or GUI design software Coordinating with programmers for specialized scripts Making changes to the site directed by Marketing Manage multiple business owners and their requests · Sell products/services directly through Direct marketing knowledge

Qualifications :
EXAMPLES BELOW Bachelor's degree (B. A. ) in Marketing or related field 1-2 years of agency or in-house corporate communications experience is a must. · Direct marketing design experience, especially selling products/services directly on page. The ideal candidate will have excellent Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe Acrobat skills. Working knowledge of graphic design tools and applications also a plus. · Fully qualified on Photoshop

- Solid PC skills including MS Office
- BA/BS Degree in business or related field
