This job is based on a ladder structure and the job level (salary)
will be determined by the quantity and quality of your experience.
As a Business Support Analyst/Data Manager within Ashland Specialty
Ingredients, this position will responsible to locate, load and keep
current all documents to be entered into Savo. In addition, this person
will coordinate and ensure the timely input of all training documents
being developed for the sales and channel partners.
Responsibilities include:
· Assist Sales Management and Account Managers with business
support for the North American Performance Specialties customer base.
· Coordinate and assist with the exchange of information (requests for TDS/MSDS, PIDA, TSR’s, SCR’s, etc).
· Qualify leads and determine the assignment of prospective accounts according to information gained.
· Maintain collaborative relationships inside the organization and develop ongoing rapport with distributors and customers.
·
During the integration process Support field sales with a variety of IT
systems relative to logging visit reports, entering opportunity
pipelines, entering sample orders, report generation, etc. Additionally,
work with Brenntag Solutions Group on sample follow up, and special
marketing projects as assigned.
· Assist with price management.
Assist with the collaborative forecasting process, reviewing order
patterns, and identifying GP “leakers” proactively. Assist in the
monitoring of delinquent accounts payable accounts.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Chemistry or Related Science OR Technical OR Business field.
Superior organization and project management skills.
Strong computer skills, including but not limited to: All MS office applications, Lotus Notes, SAP, and Web Management.
Knowledge of marketing and some technical background is preferred.
Personal initiative and strong communication skills are a must.
2 to 5 years experience desired but recent college graduates will also be considered.
