NYC long term care facility to locate a Manager of Health Information
Management. The position reports to Director of Clinical Documentation
and Reimbursement and is the senior position in the department. Primary
responsibilities of this leadership position include managing day-to day
operations of the health information management process and supervising
and scheduling a staff of four. Our client has a full EMR.

EXPERIENCE: The ideal candidate will be credentialed as R.H.I.T
or R.H.I.A. He/she should have a proven progressive management track
record within a large healthcare facility. A Bachelor’s degree is a plus
as is a Master’s degree. A CCS or CCA
is also an added plus. He/she should have strong verbal and written
communication skills, solid medical coding skills, experience with he
development and management of electronic medical records system and
Microsoft Office. Expertise in legal and regulatory requirements is
essential.
