(PT) Virtual Reference Librarian, Walden University (online)

Walden University, which offers graduate degrees at a distance in education, business, public health and the social and behavioral sciences, as well as bachelor degrees, is seeking a professional to join our team as a Part-time Reference Librarian.

The part-time reference librarian will provide reference service at a distance to Walden students, faculty, and staff by phone and email on weeknights as well as Saturdays or Sundays.

Experience - External:
Requirements:

.         ALA accredited master's degree
.         At least one year of online academic library reference experience including email, chat or web
.         Experience searching and teaching the use of online databases
.         Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
