Our client is looking for an Information Specialist for a 6+ month position in East Hanover, NJ.

Looking for a candidate to primarily conduct literature searches in order to assist in preparing and submitting NDA Annual Reports of Marketed Products

  

• Perform comprehensive research and analysis of scientific and technical published literature to provide required insights in multiple subjects including research to support Medical Information Requests

• Conduct additional literature / medical searches utilizing wide variety of pharmaceutical databases, search engines, and other resources

 

 Requirements

• An undergraduate degree from a respected institution with demonstrated analytical expertise is required. An advanced degree, MLIS / MLS a plus
• Extremely proficient on OvidSP/Medline and Embase in order to perform clinical and nonclinical literature searches

• Experience with the most recent Medline and Embase databases

• Keen understanding of the drug regulatory process such as NDA/IND/Periodic Safety Update annual reporting process

• Familiar and comfortable with pharmaceutical industry and drug / chemical nomenclature

• Advanced bibliographic expertise in searching and managing information

  • Three plus years of relevant industry or research experience, with pharmaceutical / medical experience a must

Serves as frontline therapeutic specialist responsible for engaging healthcare professional customers in rich clinical dialogue and providing such customer support as clinical presentations, literature searches and other therapeutic activities as needed. Qualifications


A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in the clinical or healthcare field required. Bachelors of Pharmacy or a PharmD highly preferred. A minimum of one year post-graduate experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, pharmacy retail, hospital and/or managed care environments is strongly preferred. Strong written, oral and presentation skills required. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) along with positive attitude toward embracing and using new technologies are required. Ideal candidates will possess the ability to build on existing clinical foundation in pursuit of expertise in relevant therapeutic area. This position requires the ability to manage complexity and possess the ability to work independently. This position is responsible for the timely completion of building new and maintaining existing Internet site content for our Corporate Liable customers within Verizon Enterprise Solutions (VES). The position will have a team of data entry contractors who manage these sites, VEC and My Business, based on requests from HQ and Area-based Sales Operations teams, device launches, product launches, pricing updates, contract renewals, and all other content related requests. Primary Responsibilities 1. Content Management and Stakeholder Communication Drive, own, and evolve our B2B Online Content System used for entering real-time plan, feature, device content into My Business and VEC to support sales and service for B2B customers and VZW/VZB representatives. Responsibilities

Reporting to the University Provost, the Associate Provost for Library Information Services will have management-level responsibility for all the libraries in the Rowan University system and will be based in the Keith and Shirley Campbell Library on the main campus in Glassboro. The Associate Provost will be a member of the Academic Affairs Council and will engage with the Deans from all the colleges and schools in the University to support the curriculum and foster the university's mission. The Associate Provost is responsible for developing strategic plans, program growth, budget and personnel management, outcomes assessment, outreach into the community and participating in regional, state and national library organizations.

Required Qualifications

· Academic credentials appropriate to the leadership of a large, modern, academic library system; an earned doctorate in library or information sciences is preferred; a second master's degree will also be considered.

· A minimum of 7 year's experience and knowledge in library collections (including libraries that support colleges of medicine), services, and operations; current and emerging information technologies; fiscal and strategic planning and management; and human resources management.

The librarian will be responsible for collection development in these subject areas and attuned to the departments’ research and curricular needs; collaborate with faculty to design curriculum-integrated library instruction for in-person, online, and hybrid courses; participate in in-person and virtual reference; and shape new directions for development and access to collections using digital and multimedia technology with the infrastructure offered by the Sharon A. Fordham Multimedia Laboratory and other library units.  Reporting to the Associate University Librarian for Research and Instructional Services, this librarian will be based in the Blanche and Irving Laurie Performing Arts Library and will be a member of the New Brunswick Libraries Faculty.
