Grace Viola Takes on Role of Alignment Ambassador

Those of you who were able to make it to the Fall Seminar last Friday, October 9 will know that Grace Viola  has been appointed as the San Diego Chapter Alignment Ambassador.  Grace will be in close touch with SLA Headquarters as we continue to learn more about the work of the Alignment Project and the implications for our profession and our organization.

This Fall the Special Libraries Association will be looking closely at an alternative name for the organization.  Please watch for news from headquarters and from Grace Viola in order to participate in the dialog to come.

Grace is in the final semester of her graduate work at San Jose State University and works full time in the Latham & Watkins law firm library.  She is last year's recipient of the San Diego Chapter Scholarship.  We appreciate her willingness to take on this role.
