Elsevier is seeking a Customer Communications & Engagement Manager. The position develops programs and promotes customer-facing communications that engage academic and government audience groups, including librarians, higher education executives, and key government contacts who are either purchasers or users of scientific research information. The successful candidate will work with internal and external constituents to understand issues that affect customers and then develop compelling stories and communications programs that highlight emerging trends, share best practices and case studies, enable advocacy, and explore key themes and issues of interest to relevant audiences. Sourcing authors for articles will be a key responsibility, as is writing original content. Priority will be given to candidates with experience in higher education or government. Position is based in San Diego, CA.
